Shipping & ports · Mauritius & Rodrigues

Shipping, made easier to navigate.

A source-led starting point for Port Louis, Port Mathurin and the work around them: official documents, external vessel trackers, licensed port-service lists and the Mauritius–Rodrigues connection.

Source boundary: Dockyard is not a port authority, shipping agent, vessel tracker or bunker supplier. It does not confirm a ship’s location, berth, ETA, licence status, capacity, price or operational readiness.
Start with the information type

Three ways into the shipping side.

Choose whether you need an official snapshot, an external AIS tool or an operator’s own service information. These sources are not interchangeable.

Official snapshot

Daily Port Situation

The Mauritius Ports Authority publishes dated port-situation files. Each file is a time-stamped record, not a live control screen.

How this page works

A navigator, not a control room.

Official documents are dated snapshots. AIS screens are independent services whose reception, timing and access rules are outside Dockyard. Operator details remain the operator’s responsibility. For cargo, a voyage, safety, clearance or supply decision, use the original publisher and contact the relevant operator directly.

Shipping agents, ship chandlers, marine and cargo surveyors, bunker-barge operators and related services should be verified at the MPA port-operators register. Bunkering requirements should be confirmed with the relevant supplier through the MPA bunkering information.

For shipping businesses

Make your maritime work findable.

Port-service, logistics, survey, technical, agency and vessel-support businesses can open a public profile to make their own official site and contact route easier to find. Licensing remains verifiable with the relevant authority.
